At the northern part of the Town of Milton, New Hampshire sits beautiful and charming Milton Mills. A village of neighbors, small businesses, farms, artists and engaging natural resources.

Easily accessible off New Hampshire Route 16, New Hampshire 125, Maine Route 109 or even U.S. 202 via Foxes Ridge Road, the village is surrounded by other small communities of Wakefield New Hampshire, Acton Maine and Lebanon Maine. With trails and waterways for local exploration and just a short drive to other destinations including Lake Winnipesaukee.

As part of Milton, our students attend public school at SAU 64 (Milton Elementary & Nute Middle High School). Emergency and safety services are provided by the Milton Police Department and Milton Fire-Rescue. In the village, residents can access the Milton Free Public Library but may also use the Nute Library in Milton proper.

Residents and visitors alike can secure passes to the Milton Town Beach on Milton 3 Ponds for summer recreation. A small playground is available in Milton Mills at the Milton Free Public Library and folks can find ball fields and the James T. Culverhouse Memorial Playground on Route 125 in Milton. Following along with Milton Parks and Recreation will offer additional recreation opportunities for all ages.

Various local organizations help preserve the history and natural resources of the area including the Milton Historical Society, New Hampshire Farm Museum, Milton Conservation Commission, Three Ponds Protective Association and Moose Mountains Regional Greenways. These organizations offer programming and events throughout the year to connect residents and visitors to important parts of what make our village and larger region so special.
